EcoRub started production of stable tiles in 2023, products for the stable enviroment made in Sweden from recycled car tires
This gives the market access to products made in the nordic, close to nordic markets and without long transports.
A product with environmental advantages both in terms of raw materials and transport compared to the alternatives available on the market.
The stable tiles gives the horses a cushioned bedding in the box as well as an improved sound environment of the stable. In addition, it reduces the consumption of bedding as well as insulates against the cold ground during winter.
EcoRub stable tiles are currently available in the following thicknesses:

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should the StableTiles be cleaned?
- 2-3 times per year is a good guideline, but it can differ between different stables and conditions.
Can the StableTiles withstand hoof studs in winter?
- We have tested with studded horses with good results as our tiles are very robust.
Is there a risk of mold?
- We recommend that you use a hygiene agent under the StableTiles such as "Stalosan" to reduce the risk of this.
How to clean a StableTile?
- We recommend that you take out the stabletiles and rinse them clean with cleaning agents such as "Virkon S" and let them dry outside before putting them back in the stable.
What varieties do you have of the StableTiles?
- We manufacture two variants for stall applications, 20mm and 40mm soft, the thicker variant has blocks underneath and is softer.
How do you cut a StableTile?
- The easiest way is to use a carpet knife, first make a cut, then you put the stabletile on top of a wooden plank so that you get the cut to open a little. Then you make several cuts, repeatedly, to get through.
Are they made in Sweden?
- We produce the StableTiles at our factory in Hökmark, which is located between Umeå and Skellefteå. They are produced from 100% recycled rubber.
